Ok, Donald Trump will be president for a total of two years on November 6, 2018. This is when the general election is held. A general election is held after two years of a United States President's 4 year term. The general election of this upcoming November will entail candidates of federal, state and local representatives. Voters can choose their Senator and House of Representatives [federal]; their Gubernatorials and Legislator [state] and their Mayor (select cities) [local] as they see fit for their preferences. There are 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives, 100 seats in the United States Senate, 39 seats for United States Governor and 6 seats for Mayor.
