How Can I Write Content For My Own Website?

Ok, so you have the feeling that writing content for your website can be done by you and you only [a non-professional writer]. That's "A" okay, because some of the better content read on websites abroad came from a non-professional like yourself and the world just happened to love what was presented. Some had not a lick of training or education on the matter, but went on and crossed their fingers and jumped on in anyways. But, some - like yourself -  sought information on the right way to do it in order to help create the best content for their website before jumping on in. Thank you for choosing this blog! I have some very valuable information to share with you to help get your website to a place of value so that you can sell, sell, sell!

Let's jump right in! I know that you have many things to do and you just stopped by for a short while to get a quick lesson, so, here we go! I'll give you two short ideas to keep in mind when writing your website content that will gain you the respect that you deserve as a business owner.

Idea #1 - Lead Them to the Well
Once a visitor graces your website, you want to immediately lead them to where they want to be within your diverse website. If you have a clothing business, make sure your landing page presents content that can lead them to each aspect of your clothing business. If you're selling shirts, pants and socks, make sure your content can get them to each one of these wells without a headache. For example - "Welcome to Josh's Apparel, a clothing website dedicated to the stylish representations of the everyday you... Click on any one of the below links as they correspond to the type of clothing that you wish to explore". Notice that in these sentences you are easily being lead to each one of the available wells on the landing page, so there isn't any scrambling as to how to get to the wells. Many websites just rely on the navigation menus to get visitors to their wells [pretty boring], but many visitors prefer to click within an attractive and engaging landing page to get them to their wells. You can even offer a decorative representation while leading visitors to the well, like some fancy lettering, pictures or symbols. Be creative.

Idea #2 - Encourage Them to Drink from the Well
Once you've lead visitors to the well, now its time to stimulate them to drink from the well. Your content must prove that your product or service is safe to buy. What is meant by that is, will it be excepted by society as stylish? Will it gain you the attention that you seek? Will it keep its quality even after a few washes? Will it fit like a medium or will it fit like a large, you know...is it safe to buy [in well terms, is it safe to drink]? Answer all of the questions that your customers would want to know before making a buying decision. Make your customers feel comfortable to drink from any one of your wells.

Also, answer these few questions before creating your content: what makes your products different from the competition? Who is the product for? When and where can you wear these products? How will these products benefit the wearer? Always incorporate the answers to these questions in your content when getting visitors to drink from your well, because many times over,  customers aren't even aware that your product or service is for them.

If you decide to say, "No way! I'll get someone else to do it!" Click here, there are thousands of writers that you can require to use these ideas in their writings for your website. You will have total control!
